Blueprint Description[]

Santa Claus has his own unique method of fishing. In this challenge, the contestant will go angling North Pole style. Using a candy cane as a hook, and a chopstick as a rod, they will attempt to catch four smaller candy canes hanging over the edge of a table.

Game Description[]

With your mouth, maneuver a chopstick that has a candy cane hanging from a string tied to it to collect 4 mini candy canes that are hanging over the edge of a table.

Set Up:[]

Prior to game start, place the mini candy canes on the edge of the table so that the "hook" part is over the edge. Contestant places chopstick in mouth, then stands in designated start zone with hands at sides. When the clock starts, contestant may attempt to hook a mini candy cane with the candy cane on the string.

Rules:[]

1. Contestant may not use their hands.

2. Contestant may pick up candy canes in any order.

3. If a candy cane is moved so that it no longer hangs over the edge, the hanging candy cane, string and/or mini candy cane(s) already hooked on the candy cane may be used to move it back to the edge of the table.

4. If the chopstick falls from the contestant's mouth at any time, the game is over.

5. If a candy cane falls to the floor the game is over.

6. To complete the game, contestant must have successfully hooked all 4 mini candy canes within the 60-second time limit, and they must concurrently remain hooked for 3 seconds.

Tips & Tricks[]

Practice your aim and accuracy: Before the game begins, try to get a feel for how to aim the candy cane to successfully hook the mini candy canes.
Use quick, precise movements: You'll need to be quick and precise in order to successfully hook the mini candy canes before time runs out.
Keep your eye on the prize: Focus on the mini candy canes and keep your eye on them as you move the candy cane to try to hook them.
Use trial and error: If you're having trouble hooking a particular candy cane, try different approaches until you find one that works.
Use a steady, controlled motion when throwing the candy cane hook to increase your chances of success.
Try to aim for the top of the candy cane, as this will give you more leverage when pulling it towards you.
