The Nutstacker

Blueprint Description[]

A chopstick without its mate is as useless as a nut without an accompanying bolt. When paired together, however, they are a perfect match. In this challenge, the contestant(s) must slide ten metal nuts off a chopstick, one-by-one, to form a free standing tower. In this precision-based operation, keen hand-to-eye coordination is required. One false move could send the tower tumbling. Oh, nuts!

Game Description:[]

Player must create 1 stack of 10 large metal nuts by sliding them off a chopstick.

4. If the stack falls over, the game is over.

5. Chopstick and nuts may only touch the table during the placement of the first nut in the stack. Any violation of this rule will result in failure to complete game.

6. To complete the game, the stack of 10 must be completed within the 60-second time limit, with the chopstick completely removed, and must remain that way for three consecutive seconds.

EX: Player may only use 1 hand at all times. Player's other hand may not be used to steady the chopstick hand. Player may not touch the nuts with any part of his or her body.

Tips & Tricks[]

  • Pay attention to the placement of each nut as you stack them. Make sure to carefully align them so that they are evenly balanced and the tower remains stable.
  • Use a steady and controlled motion to stack the nuts. Avoid jerky or sudden movements, as these can cause the tower to become unstable.
  • Focus on the placement of the nuts and try to keep your hand as still as possible while stacking them. This will help you maintain control and accuracy.
  • Take your time and don't rush. Rushing can lead to mistakes and make the game more difficult. It's better to take your time and make sure each nut is placed accurately before moving on to the next one.
