Switcheroo Blueprint

Blueprint Description[]

In this challenge, the contestant will participate in a ping-pong ball exchange program! Using blowing alone, the contestant must make five white balls on one pizza pan switch places with five red ones onto an adjoining pan. Yogi-like breath control is key: if a ball falls, it must be quickly reset on its original pan.

Game Description[]

Switch two sets of ping-pong balls on pans by blowing.

History[]

This is a level 6 challenge.

Household Items:[]

  • 10 ping-pong balls
  • Two pizza pans(circular)
  • Something to connect the two pans together

Set Up:[]

Mark each pan for the ping-pong balls it should have at the end of the game. When the clock starts, contestant may begin blowing the ping-pong balls on either pan.

Rules:[]

  1. The contestant may only use their breath to complete the game.
  2. Incidental body contact with the pans is allowed, but any more will render the game failed.
  3. If contestant does not reset ping-pong balls correctly, it may result in a fail.
  4. If a ball makes it on to its correct pan but falls off, the ball does not count and must be reset.

Tips & Tricks[]

  • Practice your breath control: Spend some time practicing your breath control before you start the game. This will help you get a feel for how much force you need to use and improve your accuracy.
  • Use a consistent blow: Try to use the same blow each time you move a ping-pong ball. This will help you build muscle memory and improve your accuracy over time.
  • Focus on the ball you're moving: Keep your eyes on the ball you're moving as you blow it. This will help you be more precise in your movements and improve your chances of success.
  • Experiment with different amounts of force: Try blowing the ping-pong balls with different amounts of force to see what works best. You might find that using less force is more effective at moving the balls without making them fall off the pan.
  • Practice: Finally, the more you practice, the better you'll get at controlling your breath and blowing the ping-pong balls accurately. So don't be afraid to spend some time practicing before you start the game.
