Blueprint Description[]

In this challenge, the contestant begins with 18 candy-coated chocolates. 6 each of red, green and yellow hidden beneath 18 separate cups. Under the pressure of the ticking clock, the player must overturn the cups, and deliver these colored candies, one at a time, to their matching cup stations, situated around the stage. Absolutely no eating allowed.

Game Description[]

Pick up 1 of many plastic cups on a center table and place the small candy from under that cup into 1 of the glasses placed around the outer rim of the stage. Object is to get all of each colored candy into the glasses.

History[]

This is a multi-level challenge, having been played at levels 4 and 7, whereas in level 4, the contestant only has sixteen candies to deliver, four of each color. Blue is added as a color.

  • 16 or 18 candies(3 or 4 different colors depending on level)
  • 3 or 4 glasses
  • 16 or 18 cups

Set Up:[]

Randomly place each candy beneath an overturned cup at the center of the playing area. Place each of the 3 glasses approximately 8' away, each in a different direction from the center cups. When the clock starts, player may lift the first cup and must then pick up the candy underneath and place it into 1 of the glasses.

Rules:[]

1. If a player overturns more than 1 cup at a time, the game is over.

2. Small candies must be placed by color in each glass on each podium.

3. Player may choose which glass contains which color.

4. If a player places candies of different colors in the same glass, the game is over.

5. No eating allowed.

6. To complete the game, the contestant must place all candies grouped into the glasses within the 60-second time limit.

Tips & Tricks[]

Divide the cups into three groups of six, based on the color of the candy underneath.

Choose a starting group and begin overturning the cups one at a time. As you uncover each candy, place it in the corresponding glass.

If you uncover a candy that does not match the color of the glass you are currently filling, move on to the next glass and place the candy there.

Once you have placed all the candies from the first group in the correct glasses, move on to the next group, following the same process.

Repeat this process until all the candies have been placed in the correct glasses.

By following this strategy, you can ensure that you are placing the candies in the correct glasses as you go, without having to remember which cup corresponds to which color. This will help you to avoid mistakes and complete the game within the time limit.
