In this challenge, a single quarter and a dinner fork could earn the contestant half a million dollars. In the ultimate test of precision, the player must roll 25 cent-coins into the awaiting gaps of the four-pronged utensil. Tips & Tricks[]

  • Practice your aim and control: Since you can't throw the quarters, you'll need to be able to roll them accurately and with the right amount of force. Practice rolling quarters from different distances and try to get a feel for how much force is needed to get them to go where you want them to.
  • Experiment with different grip styles: There are many different ways to grip a quarter when rolling it. Experiment with different styles and see what works best for you. Some people find that a thumb-finger grip is most effective, while others prefer a full-hand grip.
  • Adjust your angle and release point: The angle and release point of your roll can also affect the path of the quarter. Experiment with different angles and release points to see what works best for you.
  • Use a backspin technique: One way to help the quarter stay on the fork is to use a backspin technique when rolling it. This involves applying spin to the quarter as it rolls off your fingers, which can help it maintain a more stable flight and landing.
    • This can be done by flicking your wrist and fingers as you roll the quarter, or by using a more circular motion with your hand. The goal is to get the quarter to spin in a backwards direction as it rolls, which can help it maintain a more stable flight and landing.
    • To practice this technique, try rolling the quarter with your thumb and index finger, and focus on applying spin as you release it. You can also try rolling the quarter between your thumb and middle finger, using a similar motion. Experiment with different techniques and see what works best for you.
  • Focus on your technique: It's easy to get frustrated when you're trying to hit a small target, but it's important to stay focused and concentrate on your technique. Take your time, pay attention to your form, and try to make each roll as smooth and consistent as possible.
