Household Items:[]

  • 5 empty soda cans(tabs removed)
  • Plastic Plate
  • Large bowl filled with water
  • Table

Set Up:[]

Bowl should be almost entirely filled with water and set on table. Plate is placed to right of bowl, and cans are placed to the left of bowl. When clock starts, player places plate on water's surface in bowl.

Rules:[]

1. If the stack falls, it may be re-stacked.

2. Contestant may not pre-build(i.e stacking soda cans then transferring them to the plastic plate)

3. To complete game, all 5 soda cans must be stacked on top of plate and remain standing for 3 seconds.

Tips & Tricks[]

After placing the plate in the water, wait a couple of seconds for the ripples to die out before placing the first can. This will reduce the amount of time you have to wait out the motion of the water after each placement. Be gentle!

  • Gradually build the tower by placing the remaining soda cans on top of each other, making sure to center them carefully on the plate.
  • Use your fingers to gently adjust the position of the cans as you go, paying close attention to their balance.
  • When you have placed the final soda can on top of the tower, gently press down on it to ensure that it is stable.
  • Hold the tower steady for 3 seconds, taking care not to jostle it or move it too quickly.
  • If the tower falls, take a moment to assess what went wrong and then try again, using the strategies above to help you succeed.

Some additional tips that may be helpful include:

  • Working slowly and deliberately, rather than rushing to complete the task.
  • Using a steady hand and being careful not to make any sudden movements.
  • Seeking out a flat surface to work on, as this can help to ensure that the tower remains stable.
  • Seeking out a quiet, distraction-free environment, as this can help you to concentrate and focus on the task at hand.
