Minute to Win It Games Noodling Around

Blueprint Description[]

Although there are over three-hundred fifty varieties of pasta, this challenge requires only two. Using a single piece of uncooked spaghetti held in their mouth, the contestant must lift a total of six penne pasta. If the spaghetti breaks, the player must begin anew. Use the hands at any time, and it’s “Ciao, baby!”

Game Description[]

Pick up six penne noodles placed around the perimeter of a table using only a piece of uncooked spaghetti in your mouth.

History[]

This is a level 2 challenge and has been used in head-to-head competition.

Noodling Around

Lisa struggling with holding the penne.

Household Items:[]

  • Small round table
  • 6 pieces of penne pasta
  • 1 piece of spaghetti

Set Up:[]

Prior to game start, contestant must stand with hands at sides. Once the game begins, the contestant may grab the spaghetti noodle and place it into their mouth.

Rules:[]

1. Once the spaghetti noodle is placed in their mouth, the contestant may not use their hands to complete the game.

2. The contestant must be careful not to break the spaghetti. Should the spaghetti break, the game may continue, but all six penne noodles must still fit onto the spaghetti noodle outside of the mouth.

3. Penne may fall off spaghetti during an attempt, but only remains in play if it lands directly on the table.

4. Penne may touch lips, but may not enter the mouth.

5. To complete the game, the contestant must hold a spaghetti noodle with the mouth while picking up and holding six pieces of penne with it, so that they remain concurrently on the spaghetti within the allotted 60-second time limit and remain that way for three consecutive seconds.

Tips & Tricks[]

To pick up the noodles, you should carefully position the spaghetti over the penne and use a gentle and controlled motion to lift it off the table.

It's important to be careful not to apply too much pressure or make any sudden movements, as this could cause the spaghetti to break.

You should also make sure to keep a steady grip on the spaghetti with your mouth and avoid letting it slip or drop the penne noodles. If you're able to pick up all six penne noodles and hold them on the spaghetti concurrently for at least three consecutive seconds, you will have successfully completed the game.
